The Task

Congratulations! You have been chosen as, “The Moose Tales” Youth Reporter!

Your first assignment is to select a “First Nations Hero of the Century” for the upcoming Round Dance issue. Be prepared to defend your choice to our editors.

To defend your choice, you must provide our editors with information that will persuade them that this person deserves the title, “First Nations Hero of the Century.”

You will begin by defining a hero.

Next, you will choose a hero, and research his or her life.

You will then prepare a short presentation for the induction ceremony as your hero is inducted into The Moose Tales Hall of Fame.

You will also be responsible for designing a trophy which will be presented to all the inductees of The Moose Tales Hall of Fame.
