Added a listing of Bioinformatics resources which utilize SVG. Still quite rough, but I hope to clean it up and expand on it in the near future. If you've got a link to a bioinformatics application using SVG that's not in the list, please send it my way.

Found out recently that my abstract for SVG Open was accepted, which means I'm really motivated to complete the CGUI compliant SPARK effort I started. Things are actually going fairly well. I've converted a couple widgets, and built a couple toy applications with them to try things out.

I also recently designed a website for my ~mother-in-law~ ... or whatever the appropriate term is ... and am not unhappy with how it turned out. If you're in the market for a new sewing machine check out mariesfabrics.ca; or just go there if you feel like being critical of my web design skills. :) Now I just need to make the time to overhaul my site as the layout has gone all to hell and the colour scheme is starting to get on my nerves.

Started to describe my experiments with SPARK and CGUI. As part of this I added the "Train Game" as an example. You can find the game and the description of the SPARK/CGUI experiments from the CGUI link (under projects).

Fixed the API links on the CGUI page. At some point I seem to have busted them... this was pointed out to me a while ago, but it's busy right now... Now I just need to finish the last round of CGUI changes I started when working with Travis on the scheme stuff and get an updated CGUI release out.

Also added a link for 856 to the courses page... hoping to use this class to find the time to make a few relatively large changes to the CGUI library... so _fingers-crossed_ their may be some interesting developments over the next 3 months.

A relatively major overhaul

• using CSS for layout now with the exception of a few tables that I think rightly belong as tables... more or less.
• Updated the main page to include some random ramblings about myself.
• Added a link to Vectoreal to the main page.
• Setup and added a link to my photo album.
• Updated all the CGUI examples so they use the latest cgui source

Updated my course listing and put up my 866 and 880 project reports. Will try to find my 865 project report at home and put it up... not that I expect anyone will read these.

Put up an example of all the current CGUI widgets. Hope to update the source and documentation before too long.
