My 1962 MGB

Car number GHN3L / 1418, built from Oct. 30 - Nov. 5, 1962, according to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust.

April 2001: Restoration complete.

  • Next to Horseshoe Canyon, Alberta, Canada
  • Fall 1999: Restoration just getting started by Todd Cathcart, Sports Car Parts, Calgary, Alberta.

  • Side view, windsreen removed and interior stripped.
  • Another side view, rusty parts cut out.
  • Dash removed.
  • The boot is stripped.
  • Engine out for the rebuild (with more power, too!).
  • 1962 was the first year for the MGB. Just over 500,000 roadsters and GTs were built over its 18 year production run.
