December 15, 2016 - The lab wins the Departmental Holiday Door decorating contest, continuing its departmental dominance of all things creative.

October 31, 2016 - The lab wins the departmental Jack O' Lantern carving contest with an awesome fluorescent entry, beating out 13 other entries!

wins an outstanding poster award at the Western Canadian Medicinal Chemistry Workshop.

September 9, 2016 - Josseline is awarded a $6000 Saddington Scholarship! Yay!

April 13, 2016 - Josseline and Natasha passed their PhD Qualifying exams, for which they are sentence to four years hard labour (with the possibility of early release for good behaviour).

March 30, 2016 - Natasha is awarded an NSERC PGS-D. Congratulations and thanks for being an award-winning student.

February 17, 2016 - Yulia and Cuylar's paper is published in JACS, and featured in JACS Spotlights! It's our second publication to be selected by the editors of JACS for this.

January 21, 2016 - Welcome new postdoctoral fellow Dr. Krishna Annadi.

January 1, 2016 -
The Canadian Glycomics Network (GlycoNet), an NSERC Network of Centres of Excellence, has funded a Catalyst Grant led by Dr. Chris Phenix in collaboration with our laboratory. Details here.

October 30, 2015 -  The Palmer lab continues its dynastic departmental domination! The annual pumpkin-carving contest is won with their amazing dyed purple minion.

May 8, 2015 - Josseline and Natasha present posters at the 3rd Protein Structure, Function and Malfunction (PSFaM) Meeting in Saskatoon. It was Josseline's first poster from her work at the U of S.

May 1, 2015 - Welcome to new summer students Amanda Bunyamin and Chaojie Wang! Amanda is the recipient of a NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award, and Chaojie was awarded a Spinks Summer Student award by the Department of Chemistry.

March 1, 2015 
- New funding! The team of Dave Palmer, David Sanders and Joe Rubin are successful in the first-ever SHRF Collaborative Innovation Development grant competition.

February 6, 2015
- GlycoNet, a Network of Centres of Excellence, receives $27.3M in funding. The Palmer lab and the Sanders lab are among the 61 collaborating research groups.

- The lab bids good-bye to Yulia (and is nearly thrown out of a bar in the process).
