A few Poems

Hey Diddle Diddle

Hey diddle diddle,
The cat told a riddle,
The cow, she laughed like a loon.
The little dog harumphed to see her disport,
And the dish whacked his tail with a spoon.

To Alan and Julie, for Valentine's Day

Apples are red,
Bananas are yellow,
If you ask me,
You are a very fine fellow.

I love to ski,
And I love to curl,
But what I love the best,
Is that you are my girl.

I wrote this in Grade 8

I don't remember this at all, but Arthur did.

Nowhere is nothing found
under a rock or in the ground
In space
or on first base
nowhere is nothing found

nothing isn't there
It isn't even air
the hardest vacuum
the softest touch
nothing is far from much

[2 lines I forget]
nothing isn't much for looks
and as for noise
it sounds like books

and in Grade 9

There was a robot from Earth
That stole a ship from it's berth
It then flew away
Til on some rainy day
It came back and got wet.
