EvIdent documentation and links

EvIdent appears to be a very nice package. It runs under Java, another interpreted approach to computing, and so can be slow. But not as slow as SPM. EvIdent could be very useful when used in combination with BOLDfold mapping with respect to segregating BOLDfold responses.

A major drawback to EvIdent is that it is not free. So you may have to ask Jennifer Hadley, our resident research technician, to find out which computers EvIdent is licensed to run on.

To start up evident, type evident at the Unix command prompt.

  2. Loading up image data into EvIdent

Evident has recently been upgraded to c++ (yeay!). Lastest info can be found at http://scopira.org/evident/.
