*Description*:- A finite element library for the numerical solution of partial differential equations.
*Authors*:- Dr. Christopher Greenough and others at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
*Platforms*:- The F77 source code can be compiled on most computers.
*Availability*:- The FELIB source code may be downloaded from the FELIB 3.0 web page or from the FELIB 4 web page.
*Notes*:- The FELIB package is divided into two main parts,
level 0 which consists of callable subroutines and level 1 which
contains a number of example programs using the library. Formerly
FELIB was known as FE03 and marketed by NAG. This is no longer the
case, and the authors have now made a version of the program
available for public use. Documentation is being prepared in LaTeX
format, and the source code is very well annotated. A parallel
version of the library (PARFEL) is in preparation.
