UG
- Description:
- UG
is a
flexible toolbox for the adaptive multigrid
solution of partial differential equations. Problem classes include 3D
convection diffusion, linear elasticity, incompressible Navier-Stokes
(2D).
- Author:
- The
ica3 group
at
Stuttgart.
- Availability:
- It is available from
http://ftp.ccs.uky.edu/mgnet/Codes/ug/.
- Platforms:
- The C source has been compiled and run on an HP
712/60, an IBM RS6000, a Macintosh Quadra 700, and a Macintosh PowerPC.
- Notes:
- UG supports unstructured meshes with local refinement.
Elements are triangles and quadrilaterals in 2D, tetrahedra and
hexahedra in 3D. It includes an advancing front grid generator in 2D.
UG can be parallelised. Programmer, applications and reference manuals
are available. The
UG
download page
contains further information. The program must be registered before use.
