Electric Power Research Institute (Merlin, Spider)

Description:

The Electric Power Research Institute (or EPRI), is a consortium of electric utilities. They produce Merlin, an FE program which solves fracture analysis problems, and Spider, a general purpose post processor.

Platforms:

Spider is currently available for MS windows NT. Merlin is currently available for SGI and Sun workstations, and MS windows NT.

Availability:

Free to EPRI members. Merlin costs about $7000 (US), Spider about $1000 (US).
