Description:

VisualFEA is an integrated FE package with powerful pre- and post-processing capabilities. The program can be applied to linear/nonlinear, static/dynamic structural analysis in 1/2/3D; also to steady-state and transient heat conduction, and confined/unconfined seepage; and to a coupled or sequential analysis of all these factors.

Platforms:

Windows (9X/NT/2000/XP) & MacOS 9; a minimimum of 16 Mb RAM.

Notes:

Variants of VisualFEA emphasize geomechanical (VisualFEA/GEO) and educational (VisualFEA/CBT) applications. Prices vary from the budget level (for the educational version) up the medium priced GEO package. Academic discounts are also applicable. A node-limited version is available for free download from the VisualFEA website, and a comprehensive user manual may also be downloaded. VisualFEA can be integrated with other FE programs.
