CASE Software

The Centre for Advanced Structural Engineering, University of Sydney, has a list of commercial software which includes programs for buckling analysis and steel structure design (according to Australian codes).

Codes include:

• PRFSA 1st and 2nd order elastic analysis, in-plane buckling analysis, 1st order plastic analysis, dynamic analysis and truss analysis of plane rigid frames.
• PRFELB Finite element flexural-torsional buckling analysis of plane frames and design of beams to AS 4100, design of purlins to AS/NZS 4600.
• THIN-WALL Cross-section analysis and finite strip buckling analysis and direct strength design of thin-walled structures.
