A homepage for the scaled boundary finite-element method (also called the consistent infinitesimal finite-element cell method) can be found at http://lchwww.epfl.ch/wolfweb/. This site is maintained by Chongmin Song. The method is a technique by which only the boundary of the problem is discretised, and appears to be a combination of BEM and FEM. This is particularly useful in representing singularities and unbounded domains. A table of contents for the book ``FINITE-ELEMENT MODELLING OF UNBOUNDED MEDIA'' is available at this site.
This site includes FORTRAN 77 source code for SIMILAR. SIMILAR analyses two- and three-dimensional unbounded and bounded media for the scalar and vector wave equations of elastodynamics and diffusion in frequency and time domains and statics.
