Hey Hey!!
This is where I keep tabs on alll my favorite cartoons...it's kinda like Mecca for cartoon fans like me...or actually just me (*_~) The reason for this page? You might ask? well, recent events have lead me to remember cartoons of the past I loved dearly and a quest to track them all down has resulted. Of course, what's the use of finding the Holy Grail if you're not going to share it right? so...hopefully all you children of the eighties will also find delight in visiting some old memories. Enjoy!

Hey Hey! look! its JEM!! when i was little i wanted to be jem, in fact,
to this day i still have a strange affliction for red, star shaped, earings. OH! Interesting bit of info - Amazon.com is currently selling Jem and Rainbow Brite (please see below) video cassettes for upwards of $12.57! Im so excited! The ones I ordered are fantastic! Vol. 1 even has my favorite episode of all time when the Misfits steal the Jemstar earings and the Holograms have to run around China trying to find them, only to have them given back to them by an adoring fan. The videos even have music videos, and I must admit I like the one's of the Misfits better... Jem's songs are a bit mello

look at this! it's she-ra! i definately also wanted to be her, it was her pretty weapon that helped me develop a wannabe interest in sword fighting and the need to have long hair. in fact, most cartoon girls  those days had long hair... i tried the whole  long hair thing, and i really cant stand having my hair much past my shoulders (*_~) and hey!!! did you notice that they redid he-man?!? perhaps this means a comeback for his twin sister!

ok, so i wanted to be a lot of cartoon girls, but who wouldnt want to be able to create rainbows and ride a horse that could talk and has such pretty colourings? she was the original though, and when she went off the air, it was she-ra and then jem...i guess it's been kinda like a cartoon evolution for me... (*_~)

well, maybe not a cartoon i always watched, but definately one i rented often whenever i got to choose a video... i think i liked ravenwaves better though, i felt sorry for her: she was prettier and all she wanted was a lock of lady lovelylocks' hair to have magic too and she could never get it... i had a lovelylocks doll at one point and i still have her horse, but i was much more obsessed with the pixietails, i loved finding them at school or at garage sales... i recall at one point i wanted to have millions of them, but i think the most i ever had was maybe 4... tee hee, back then i didnt even have enough hair to put a pixie tail in, but i sure tried...

hey hey its the moon dreamers...they would monitor your dreams and fought against the evil doers that would have you dream nightmares all the time. this girl was one of my favorites, whimzee...one of these days i think im going to have to watch this show again, i dont remember very much about it other than i liked it and it came on after my little ponnies somedays, alternating with glowworms...

now i Know most of you watched ducktales. who wouldnt? a duck that had soo much money he could swim in it, and launchpad mcquack and of course, all the lil ducks who always got into trouble, even when they were doing good things. come on, sing it with me!
                        "ducktales...ooowhooooo!"

and now, something totally original! A spinoff! Thats right! the first one of the site... Darkwing Duck, a spinoff of ducktales... including the ever famous launchpad mcquack. "i am the scourge, that flaps in the night!" was a favorite line whenever he showed up to fight negaduck, his archnemisis, usually accompanied by a stowaway sidekick, gosalind. Gosh, why do i remember so much about this guy? perhaps it is because i wanted to be morgana at one point... ya know, his girlfriend... not that I want to date a duck, or to be a duck for that matter, but she was cool.

"my little poooonies my little ponies da da da dada da-da" werent they cute? i aslo had quite a collection, along with many of the regulars i had seaponies, flutterponies, baby ponies, the two tooth ponies, the smelly ones, the ones with the long hair...yeah...i had a castle for awhile and i remeber always wanting the shoeicecreamparlour, it was cool!! i also had meghan and a movie, if youve known me long, chances are you've seen it!

pizza and drugs anyone? errm yeah, teenage mutant ninja turtles, one of the goodders!! my friend and sister and i used to play ninja turtles in the yard when we were little...somehow i always got to be april...or pretty close to always anyhoo...looking back on them days, i think i was a bit of a bully...hard to believe...gosh im sorry guys! Apparently, Ninja Turtles are back and can be viewed on Teletoon friday nights. It's actually pretty good... they've even updated the electronics... like Mike had an mp3 player and April's a hacker. Cute really.

more of my dad's favorite show, but i enjoyed it, i remember it was either before this or ninja turtles my sister an i used to dance around the family room, it was fun!
"come 'ere lil duckypoo!" his nanny was great, she carried everything in her sling...i dont even know if her arm was really broken...silliness, i love it!

gosh... all the batman cartoons and shows have always ranked number one in my book. this series and the one before it i do believe are my very favorite cartoons... the previous season only had batman and robin and mostly just batman, but i remember one episode where batman spoke in japanese almost the enitre show.... my favorite episode ever! not only was it batman, but he was speaking Japanese!!! (did i mention i love the japanese?)

ooo the newest batman series! batman beyond! about a time when bruce wayne has retired and this new kid, terry mcginnis, is taking over for him. set in the future, its a very "shway" show to watch! However, KidsWB does not think tis a valuable Saturday morning cartoon anymore so you can't watch it then....

And of course, where there is Batman, the Justice League can't be too far behind... Actually, the original show is called Superfriends and it had Batman, Robin, WonderWoman, Aquaman, The twins .... and Jan ("twin powers activate!", Zonk? the monkey, and Superman of course. The current show, at least as of now it is on YTV is called Justice League and its got Batman, Hawkgirl, sometimes WonderWoman, Green Lantern, J'ohn J'onns (spelling is not my forte) Flash, and sometimes Static Shock and Gear (really you have to watch Static Shock to see that, but it does happen...)

A show so old I dont even remember most of the characters, but i know i liked it... they were a band or something non? I vaguely remember one episode where denver was lost and the kids were searching for him and all anyone could do was show them a map and point to denver, colorado...

wow! a show so classic its still on the air!! i liked it better without pebbles and bambam, but hey, they were cute enough kids. still a great show to watch when youre feeling nostalgic, and im sure everyone who visits this page will at least know who they are!

and where there are flintstones, there are usually jetsons! who wouldnt love these guys with their talking computers and nifty cars that would turn into brief cases.. not to mention good ol teenage anxst and strange pets from outer space... dont forget the crossovers with the flintstones and the great movies both shows had! wow... i love these guys!

go go gadget-cartoon!~ ahhh if i was a super hero, id probably be most like inspector gadget, minus the whole robotic thing... just clumsy and forgetful. but hey, thats alright, id have a dog and a niece with a computerbook to watch out for me. i used to always search for a computer book like penny had... or a dog like brain... i guess my laptop and sassy will just have to do for now...

another great show, both new and old versions, tho i must say i favour the new one a lil more. for starters they are older and then there is a girl... and a whole bunch of nifty new technology. hmmm im noticing a trend... i like toons with magic and technology best, and this one seemed to have a bit of both

hey hey! its punky brewster! a cartoon they redid some years later with real people... didnt have quite the same touch, i mean, no glomer? what sort of show is that? mind you, this was one of my best friend's favorite cartoons, so i cant really complain. and when we would play make believe, i always got to be punky and she was glomer so its all good

another tv show we played pretend, rather we used a plush toy from this show to make our own plays for siblings, is the Pound Puppies...good times, non? (the lil puppie's name is cut off, but I think it was Whopper)

ok, so this picture has to be really big or the faces go all funny... go planeteers i guess... who wouldnt want to have superpowers like these guys for Savin the Environment! so great... go early nineties cartoons

awww isnt she adorable! not only did i watch the show, i had a small figurine that smelled like strawberries.. not sure where or when i got it, but i love that lil toy. now i have two of her friends and since the show is no longer on air i have no idea who they are. oh well, they are green and blue if anyone has any ideas? what a role model, i wanted to be a world famous chef because of her... but hey, now im not really allowed in the kitchen anyway ;) There is also a new version of this shows for today kids, but Miss Shortcake isn't even wearing a dress so chances are it will not be as ...cheerful? (scaringly sweet...) as it was, and really, what is the fun in that! :)

this show was, or maybe even still is, recently played on cartoon network. A great show about a pilot named Jean, his kid brother, and an android named melfina. I actually have the words to their theme song on my art page. Anyway, the story was basically about the ship, "the outlaw star" and somehow melfina was able to fly it... also about how melfina the android falls in love with Jean, and the fact that all sorts of other girls, human and alien alike, are chasing after him. quite cute.

Thunder, Thunder, Thunder HERE! My goodness, this show has been gone so long it's now cool to wear shirts bearing the ThunderCat Symbol. This show was great, I liked to play pretend and make believe I was the girl twin... I believe they were known as Kit and Kat... That game sadly came to a close when I pretended to be in trouble and scared my dad... However, the series was fun and then they got some new characters and I have yet to figure how exactly they worked in. Anybody else know? The characters new characters were Bengali, the white tiger, who also happens to be Tigra's younger brother; Pumyra was the new girl who was also a healer, and Lynxo was the blind one. They also added a young fellow named Snarfer, who coincidentally is Snarf's nephew. Thank you windrider!

ahhh the Wuzzles... They had a show, books, schoolstuff, and the elusive plush toys. I had the purple elephant and he had a pouch you could actually store stuff in. Quite nifty really... Recently I found some Wuzzle goodie bags in my house, you know, for birthday party goodies. Very Spiffy!

Anybody ever watch this oldy? Believe it or not I actually found pictures of Hercules... The tv cartoon series with the goat (place mythic name here) that always chased young Hercules going "herc! herc!" least I'm pretty sure... and someone in my Latin class told me the bad guy's name is Donallus... or something to that effect. Interesting fact, in Latin my name is pronounced "Kris-toon" funny coincidence? I think not.

so not a cartoon, but "You can't do that on television" came highly appreciated by Jason in the computer lab, and since all of my webstuff magically made it through to this year, I put this on my site to honour the magic computer whiz that seems to think this stuff is worth looking at. This show is a predecessor of many of the new slimy shows out there like Uh-Oh and All-That... Any teen variety show really, but at least once an episode, somebody got slimed for doing something, "You can't do... on television"

popples Another oldie, but goodie: The Popples!! I was more a fan of the merchandise than the actual show, but it was a cartoon and therefore I'll put up a picture or two. Do you remember the "rock star" popples? The girl was purple and the guy was blue and I spent the longest time trying to find the guy one so my girl rock star wouldnt be alone... How long did I look you may ask? About a year ;)

not a show I can recall watching, but back by popular demand!
"Defenders Of The Earth was a half-hour long. This show was produced by Marvel Productions in association with King Features Entertainment. It premiered in syndication in September 1986. The series was based in the year 2015. Ming the Merciless is about to take over the world. Flash Gordon, The Phantom. Lothar, and Mandrake The Magician all team up to stop him. They get some help from Rick Gordon (Flash's son), Jedda Walker (Phantom's daughter), L.J. (Lothar's son), Kshin (an orphan), and Zuffy (a furry alien)."  (Description Courtesy of http://www.pazsaz.com/defender.html) looks a wee bit like Justice League, Super Friends, or similar to me!
