Let's see... What can I say about myself? If you know me, then you really don't need me to tell you. Well, you might. But you would definitely have your own opinions. I'll go with the more recent stuff, at least the stuff I'm more proud of.
I graduated from from the Software Engineering program at the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Software Engineering. How many software engineers can say they have a Bachelor of Software Engineering? Yes, I know, everyone I graduated with along with everyone in the classes after us.
After 5 years of insanity (which was fun) and working at different companies (including RIM, CCOHS, Triversity, and DataMirror), I am now at the University of Saskatchewan. After lots of debate and input from various people, I switched from the Masters into the PhD program. Yes, I'm insane. Like I said, I did go through 5 years of it.
It's been 5 years since graduation and I've travelled to a lot of places. With many more trips to come. With every publication comes a trip to somewhere. I hope it takes me to some new and exciting places.
My favourite times of the year are Christmas and birthdays. I love going around looking for presents for people. I don't know why but I do. It's a lot of fun looking in unique shops, looking at/for unique gifts. The look and surprise on my friends and family's faces is sure worth it.
I don't think there's anything else I can say. I never was good at talking about myself. I'm much better at talking about other people and stuff that happens to me. But I'm not going to report that here. You'd have to know me to get those stories.
This is my first website and I hope you enjoy looking at it. I had fun designing it and look forward to designing the next one.
