Other Stark Immigrants to America before 1800
The table below is a list of Stark men quoted in books as immigrants to North America prior to 1800. Most of this information was found using a search of Ancestry.com immigration records in January, 2007. Thus far I am not aware of any descendants of these men living today. No one seems to list them as ancestors on WorldConnect.

- Charles Stark (b. 1826 Germany) immigrated through the port of Philadelphia with his wife and children in 1874. His son Willhelm married Johanna Roggenbuck (b. 1851 in Stettin, Germany) who immigrated in 1881. Her grandmother was Johanna Stark. Please email johnstark@earthlink.net if you have further information on this line. see RootsWeb also
- Gustav Stark immigrated to the U.S. from Switzerland in the 1850's. No living male descendants known.
- John (originally Johann) Stark (1802 - 1870) immigrated with his wife Barbara and children from the port of LeHavre, France to the port of New Orleans in 1847. It is presumed they were from Alsace Lorraine region of France/Germany. They settled in Lanesville, Harrison County, IN. Please email dbuehler1@cfl.rr.com for genealogical information on this line.
- John Stark and his wife Eva Mary Simon immigrated to the U.S. in about 1870, probably from Germany. They can not be found on the 1870 census or passenger lists so this is surmised from the immigration date and country of origin reported by their son William Henry Stark who settled in Kansas and his sister Christina Stark who married Christian Zimmer, and settled in Chicago, and Bertha Stark who married a Mr. Balke. Dee Helfrich their descendant is interested in any information about these people (gooneybirds@starband.net). see RootsWeb also
- Wilhelm Stark (1823 - 1885) and his wife immigrated to Ontario, Canada before 1870 from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Wilhelm apparently died in Ontario, and in about 1887, Dorothea and at least four of their five children moved to Amsterdam, New York. Their descendants have mostly stayed in that area.
