Other Species affected - Viverridae

Two species in the Viverridae family may develop canine distemper, the Binturong and Masked Palm Civet.  Reported clinical signs of canine distemper in the free-ranging Masked Palm Civet include; dehydration, diarrhea, dyspnea, oculonasal discharge, local alopecia, and convulsions (Deem et al., 2000).
